2024 ACADEMY GROUP CLASSES

With your DaySmart Recreation member account you can sign up for any programs and sessions offered at the rink.

Do NOT use the Sign In button in the upper right corner of this website. Do NOT create an account in Sports Engine. The only correct way to register is through DaySmart Recreation ONLINE REGISTRATION.

Instructions for online registration:

Create an account on DaySmart Recreation (in Parent's name)
Add child(ren) to main account
Click Registration, then Learn To Skate
Under the Program Search column, select the following, then click search:
- Register: Name of skater
- Program: Learn To Skate
- Season: leave blank
- Level: The level on your report card for next session enrollment. Do not choose a level other than what was recommended.
- If you are new, only select from:
  - (ages 3-6) Snowplow Sam 1 or Hockey Snowplow 1
  - (ages 7 & up) Basic 1 or Hockey 1
  - (ages 15 & up) Adult 1
Click the day you want to add to the cart
Checkout if you are done, or Continue Shopping to add more days or other children
- Make sure the names match who you are registering
If a day you want is full, you can join the waitlist or select a different day
- Waitlist will be contacted in order received if space becomes available. Do not show up if you are on the waitlist.
If you receive an error while registering, first clear your device's cookies and try again. Make sure you are registering your account with DaySmart Recreation, not SportsEngine.

Technical difficulty?

If you experience trouble logging in to DaySmart or get a blank page when you click the link, try the following:

1. Clear all cache/history in the browser

2. Restart the browser

3. Then retry the link

(If you are in a phone app and getting a blank screen, uninstall and re-install the app)

LA Kings Ice at Pickwick Garden offers a variety of group lessons for all ages and ability levels. Each group class is a step-by-step progression that develops each skater as they improve their skating skills. Skaters must successfully complete the current level before they can graduate to the next group class level. There is something for everyone in our skating school group class program. We have figure skating and hockey group classes from beginner to advanced levels for tot skaters (ages three to six), youth skaters (ages 7 to 13 years), and teen and adult skaters of all ages.
